Geneva 22 February 2016 − Expert panelists will discuss root causes behind the violent attacks and discrimination against people with albinism, when they meet at an event at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva (Room XXIII) on 7 March 2016 at 13:30.
The President of the National Italian Municipalities (ANCI) and Mayor of Turin, Mr. Piero Fassino, and the Director of the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), Ms. Cindy J. Smith, met at the City Hall of Turin for the signing of the agreement between ANCI and UNICRI.
The agreement aims to lay the foundation for the cooperation between the two organizations in order to promote urban security, in particular by preventing crime, reducing vulnerabilities and promoting development and human rights.
